USDA RD Guarantee Fee change to go into effect
October 1st, 2011
Single Family Housing Guaranteed Loan Program
Implementation of Annual Fee
Increase in Upfront Fee for Refinance Transactions
Effective with all Conditional Commitments (RD Form 1980-18)
issued on December 7, 2011, the upfront guarantee fee for all
Guaranteed Rural Housing refinance transactions will increase from
1.00% to 1.50%.

The upfront guarantee fee for USDA Guaranteed Rural Housing
purchase transactions is not affected by this change and remains at
2.0%.

All Guaranteed Rural Housing loans, including refinances, will
continue to include a 0.3% annual fee.
